Several days ago I left my full time work. Before I've working for almost 6 years without any unemployed period. I worked in small companies which have 3 or 5 workers and I work in huge companies where were a lot of people(from 100 to 1000). Several companies were start-ups and others were quite accomplished. And I made several conclusions.
- Corporate culture is a religion. As any religion it aims to control you. It says that every colleague is your best friend. It says that company is very important part of your life. It says that company can't live without you and you can't live without it. It says that team where you work is your family. But there is one exception: corporate culture works before you earn money for your company.
- Boss never increases your salary without your petition. Even if you became more developed specialist. Then if you want to increase your salary just go and ask it.
- If company doesn't need well developed workers it will do anything to stop developing of workers.
- Some offices wants to look like home: tasty free food, sofa, flowers, warm light and so on. But it's just deception.
- If you are not founder or crucial worker you never know about real status of company: is it in progress or is it dying.
- Every work which doesn't bring satisfaction takes away your life force. Too simple work does the same.
